We Cannot Provide Medical Advice

We are not medical professionals and cannot diagnose skin conditions or recommend specific treatments for your situation. If you need medical advice, please contact your GP, call NHS 111, or visit a dermatologist. In an emergency, call 999.

Finding a Dermatologist

In the UK, you can access a dermatologist in two ways:

  • NHS referral: Ask your GP for a referral. Wait times vary by area (typically 8-18 weeks). Free at point of care.
  • Private consultation: You can self-refer to a private dermatologist. Initial consultations typically cost £150-300. No waiting list. Many dermatologists work both NHS and privately.
